I graduated from American Military University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I spent five years on active duty in the United States Navy, serving aboard USS Reuben James (FFG-57) for two deployments before transferring to the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific (JICPAC), in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I served there as a North Korea Tactical Analyst for three years, before discharging honorably in 2003.
